JIM & DILL – THE LEGEND OF WEED N’ STIFF – DIGITAL NES ROM
ROM files are labeled .nes, and all roms from calgames are developed with Mapper 30. If that sounds foreign to you, don’t fret! The game will work on most modern emulators and devices (like Anbernic or Retroid Pocket). In rare cases, like Delta for iOS, the game will need to be a different mapper. However don’t fret… the Mapper 2 version is included with your purchase/download!

Premium Edition Games Release: – INDEFINITELY DELAYED – Premium Edition Games began preorders in March 2024, with an expected shipping window of Fall 2024. Despite numerous attempts at getting more information from PE and making progress, we only keep getting excuses. We gave them a hard deadline of March 1, 2026 to ship the games and pay us what we are owed. Premium Edition agreed to this deadline, claiming the games are “basically done”, yet they predictably did not follow through and have not reached out.
At the time of writing (June 2026), we have not received a dime from PE for the Jim & Dill titles, and the release date on their website has gone from “Fall 2024”, to “Late 2025”, and now “TBD”.

ABOUT THE GAME
Jim & Dill – The Legend of Weed N’ Stiff
Join the adventure! The first game released in the Jim & Dill series (but the 2nd game in the overall story). Jim Weed and Dill Stiff have been kidnapped by the jealous Joe Bobson – leader of the rival band Moo Cow – and they are counting on you! You will have to battle your way through the seaside, mountains, caves, and snow to find the band and finally save the Weed N’ Stiff boys!
Along the way, a cast of characters from the Weed N’ Stiff universe will help you on your quest. Sort of. At least there’s a lot of WS references, and even some of the band’s music in glorious 8-bit as well. .
Original game score written by Logan E. Schad, along with some classic 8-bit Weed N Stiff tunes! Featuring the song “Buttermoose” (available for download on iTunes, Amazon, and Bandcamp).
Formed in 1994, Weed N’ Stiff has been the world’s premier rock and roll duo. The band consists of lead singer James (Jim) Weed and guitarist Dillard (Dill) Stiff.
At the time of writing, the band has recorded 11 albums (some of which can be found on iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify, etc.) and written more than 130 songs, in addition to releasing multiple music videos, a 20th Anniversary documentary, and three video games.
